I'm not holding out hope for decent fall weather. Felt like we had a week and a half to two weeks of spring at the beginning of May, then summer hit.
I certainly hope I'm wrong about fall...because tailgate.

We were in Bozeman for a family wedding (it was Friday night) and took in some sights on a few days.

Early as in color and dead brown leave. And dead trees. Shallow water here is getting overrun with cattails. Cattail edges are good habitat for critters but acres and acres and acres of cattails are not. And everything is cover on algae. Took a picture of two ducks last night but couldn't tell what they were, they were both covered in green muck.
Montana crew came through yesterday on way to Iowa. Betting they're happy to be out of Montana for the week. Supposed to hit 101 in their little town today, only 87 in the Quads.
I like Bozeman. We've stayed at a place about 45 minutes southwest of there a couple of times.
Montana gang is moving to Helena this fall. That be closer to stuff so maybe Uncle Boxster will come visit. They've been on the east border which is more like western ND. Boxster has not visited.
Helena was on my list of places to visit because of the Brewers rookie league team was there, but they moved.
Getting my oil changed. It's weird that there is only about 20-30 cars on the lot. Normally there would probably be 200-300
As a purely selfish move, yes, I would. I have dreamed of being in space for decades. However, joy-rides to the upper stratosphere are just not a good use of billions of dollars.
Ah, finding parts for a 1986 Model 70 Sears washing machine. Need new inlet valve, cold sides failed either electronical or mechanically and it makes cray cray noise and hardly flows. . Real Sears supply doesn't have them in stock. Taking a chance on Amazon. Really no such thing as OEM for this old stuff. Would like to also replace an interior supply hose but nobody makes them.. Guess I'll look at it when I open it up and see if I can buy some basic car radiator hose in the right diameter....think I can.
Helena looks like it would put you at a pretty good location. It's less than 3 hours to Yellowstone, Glacier, and Big Sky. Some dealerships are putting cars being worked on out on the lot to make it look like they have more cars than they actually do.
