Just curious on these Texas Tech transfers. Obviously with Beard leaving, we would expect several of them to jump. But would you expect more of them to transfer to Texas to join Beard or more of them to choose a whole new (not Texas) environment? Interesting is all.

The 4 year stay at one school player is in danger of becoming extinct. I understand there are plenty of legit reasons to transfer but things are becoming ridiculous. Not sure what the transfer portal number is at but it's got to be a crazy number.

Yeah. wondering if this will breed a still-unknown type of coaching style, maybe a kinder, gentler one? Perhaps some players don't like the coaching style or rules, or discipline? Can you imagine if we had coach Eustachy? What is the reason for all these transfers anyway really?

I guess I can see a player wanting to transfer elsewhere if he is not getting playing time or the he sees the writing on the wall, so to speak. But it is hard to explain what is happening today.
