No thank you

Why? He is majoring in engineering, is from the midwest, would probably love to play at ISU, has interest from UNI and more than likely is a Green target who you just stated was a tremendous hire. So what's the problem? I have been told more than enough times since the new hire we cannot expect TJ to get transfers the caliber of a Marcus Carr. So........here you go.

there’s a middle ground between best transfer on the market and an okay summit league player

I have no idea if he is good enough but coaches must see something in him. Minnesota showing interest as well.
Minnesota and Virginia Tech. Who knows if we actually offer or not. Be interesting to know the story on this kid. Numbers haven't really stood out on a bad Denver team. Wonder what has triggered interest. Must feel he has some untapped potential.

Players bring more to a team and the game than what they average numbers-wise in a conference. He’s only a Sophomore and has upside. There’s obviously something coaches see that can be of help to what they want to build. Focusing just on what he averaged in a low major conference is poor way of determining whether you think they’re good or not. Brent Blum’s recent article is a perfect example of this. Let pieces come together before jumping off the ledge..........

And I have no idea why he transferred or what he is looking for.

4-5 scholarships available. Need some role players.

Go read Blum's article on Baylor. They are playing in a Final Four with several role players that were barely recruited. Let alone had interest from the like of Minny and VaTech. Only need 2-3 stars on a team. The rest need to play to a role

Problem is we still need the stars to build around. I don't think we can rag on people who wouldn't be excited for a player who avg. under 10 points on a mid-major. I mean Javon Johnson hasn't exactly turned into a superstar, or even a role player.

I hear you. But we have Tyrese hunter coming in. That is a likely star. If Bolton stays, he's a borderline star. Plus we just went 0-18... Not many payers busting down the door at Sukup to lace them up. May need a year to let the coaches do their thing on the trail.

In this particular instance. Maybe Foster is destined to play to 4 with Condit and the 5. With Condit's foul trouble. We need another big to bring off the bench and body up the David McCormick and Derek Culvers of the world

You know who else we brought aboard because he really wanted to play at ISU? Jeff Beverly.
