Great thread. I just have one request. Can we quit calling him COTZ? I cringe every time I read it; it just doesn’t have a good sound to it.

I can't help read that as "cots" and laugh.

Kind of like when I see Latinx and can't help but say "La-tinks" to myself.

I get that. I see it as Coach Otz... But it looks stupid to put C OTZ or C,OTZ. I think it's a respect thing as well. He was Otz as an assistant. He's now the CEO for the 3rd most popular organization in the state (UI FB, ISU FB 1 and 2)

COTZ is stupid.

Not him. But that stupid abbreviation is stupid.

Green, DRob and COTZ are all familiar with the Iowa JUCO scene. Dustin Houge was a 2013 recruit from Indian Hills. So it wouldn't surprise me if TJ was his lead recruiter before he left for Washington
Yeah, getting the top Juco in-state prospects would really help facilitate a quicker turn around. Aside from Hogue and McKay (sort of, by way of Marquette) we haven't seen ISU too active in Ottumwa recently.
