SaraV is who stands out to me from your list there, she tried to deflect attention from cyfan21 and threw her vote away on Bsalty. I'm also suspicious of Colorado who was a quick second vote on dandy without any reason. I don't see anything clearing MJ yet either....I'm going to vote SaraV for now.
Just jumped on CF to read up on the Coaching news and I saw this thread. Love to see Mafia games still going strong! I used to play years ago and I still see some of the same old names. Very cool!

Day 1 vote totals when Fitzy went into the lead. Plenty of time left for other people to cast votes for others, so probably no reason the mafia tells cyfan21 to rescind. That would REALLY stick out, much more than putting someone in the lead with nearly 6 hours left in the day.
I don't buy that BSalty would be diverting attention away from him. cyfan21 gets the n00b nod for a few games from most players, I would think. If you want to talk about diverting attention from not bolding votes, think about michael's non-bolded vote on Day 1 (I currently don't think there's anything to that at the moment).
And it just so happens that cyfan13 is a beneficiary of Fitzy going into the lead with cyfan21's vote.

This post really didn't sit well with me right away. There would be no reason for Salty to remind Cyfan to bold a vote within the game thread if he could have PM'd him. Combine that push with the last couple of theories posted and vote cyfan13.
Atta way fellas. Today is shaping up for to be a fun little mafia day. Sally is a bit defensive. Sara is sus too but she posts so little it’s hard to build a case against her so early. Having been mafia with her a couple games ago, she doesn’t post much regardless of if she’s mafia or not.

My day 2 vote for Dandy was because they were a 2nd vote on day 1 that moved someone into a tie at the top. I quickly realized I was doing the same thing to Dandy yesterday so rather than rescind my vote, I chose not to put in my reasoning and let it ride.

We used to take Thursday & Friday of the tournament off from work every year and immerse ourselves in basketball. I LOVE the first rounds, where almost anything can happen...especially with the seeds between 4 and 13. Doesn't matter to me WHO is playing.
We still watch all the games - we just don't have to take vacation time to do it any more.
There were three people at the top for a majority of the day yesterday and the game was dead. Looks like the mafia was fine with any of those three dying. Then someone pushed cyfan21 and all of the sudden the game started back up and votes came flying in. Was the mafia trying to save him? Turns out, yes they were...
So I think mj, michael and likely 2015 are all in the clear.
Or I could be totally wrong but it's something to go off of instead of just randomly throwing names out with no justification on day three.
While I agree with you that there does not seem to be a good reason to be sus on MJ, Michael, or 2015, I’m not quite sure that I agree with your reasoning. That’s because for most of the afternoon Cyfan21 was tied for or outright owned the lead even when it was quiet on here.
To recap:
Spiker’s vote for Cyfan21 at 3:06 pm made a three way tie for the lead with MJ and Michael.
Cleaver’s vote for Cyfan21 at 5:59 pm put him in the lead.
Crickets for a while.
You commented at 7:37 pm that things were slow, and at 8:39 pm you voted for Cyfan21 to put him further into the lead.
So by your logic the mafia would have been fine with Cyfan21 being lynched, because it was fairly quiet for quite a while even when he was either tied for or had the vote lead.
Not that it really matters though, because you picked the right guy. That’s kind of why I was hoping to have a couple of people tied last night, because I didn’t think you were making sense.
