Yes, we hate Leath, often for good reasons, so a natural coping mechanism is to use him as a fall guy.

Time for you to cope. People aren’t defending Leath when explaining why Jamie is culpable. Leath should have made sure his subordinate was doing his job to the industry standard long before he did. That’s his mistake.

They would’ve had several guys returning from an 11-7 MWC team. Guys left the program with the change. Not sure he actually cleaned house. But the surprising thing is that they did pretty well his first year and went downhill this year. If a guy had to come in year 1 and clean house you would expect the opposite. That’s what Menzies did there. Cleaned house after Rice, then won 4, 8, then 11 conference games and had several starters returning.

Let’s also note that both at SDSU and at UNLV his centerpiece player has been inherited.

One thing working against ISU is our donor support for our athletic department is woefully low for a power 5 school. Historically, for whatever reason ISU alumni have been cheap. The school gets amazing donor support, just not the athletic department.

Is there any evidence that TJ has the unique capability to retain Foster and Hunter? Are old WI ties enough for Hunter, and would he bolt if a different coach were hired?

Seems like people are completely guessing on that.
