Testifying
Is there anything worse than tweeting **** like this but not revealing anything? No thanks.
If it's someone we dont care about like DePaul that's lame.
They followed those tweets up with Arizona tweets FWIW.

No “sources”, but I think from reading to posts and thinking about the situation, Steve P comes back. I’m sure there are conversations about the status of the program and what needs to be improved. We have some players coming in next season and we might be a stretch 4 (actual 4 who can rebound and not a 3 playing a 4) and an experienced point guard away from being an improved team. Give Steve one year to prove it and if not we make a move that we can feel good making. Steve’s buyout goes down, we will be a year removed from this year and it’s financial issues and TJ might make more sense in the potential pool of candidates.

That’s my two cents because no one will hire Steve coming of this disaster of a year like McDermott.

Prohm is done. Won’t be surprised if an announcement comes yet this week.

I posted something similar awhile back and I can't disagree with this. And it's not because I want Prohm. It's because of Jamie's pragmatism (or my perception of it over his career at ISU) . This COVID season is a mulligan season, imo. And we're all basking in the glow of the Fiesta Bowl victory and looking forward to what could be another great football season next season. If we get fans back into Hilton at full capacity it won't be a morgue...unless we suck. And even if we do, the sucking will presumably most reveal itself beginning with the conference slate.

From now until the end of next basketball season it's my opinion that we have enough good things going or on the horizon that the move, from Jamie's perspective, doesn't have to happen until then.

Now, if Jamie has an A+ hire in the chamber forget everything I said. But I'm not gonna be surprised if SP is back for his final season next season.

Thats great, but now that just leads to wasted energy and late 3’s given up. It’s not 1995 anymore.

I'm not saying we disregard the 3pt shot, we need shooters, but I think the landscape is also a bit different than it was when Fred was a bit ahead of the curve on analytics, spacing, avoiding the mid-range 2 and sacrificing defense and physicality.

I think you are kidding yourself here. If Prohm comes back for another season Hilton will look like it is under Covid restrictions again. There were problems with empty sections last year towards the end of the season. We had guys yelling at Prohm during Senior Day speeches 3-4 seasons ago. It is possible we might have some booing next year if Prohm is back and the meatheads are allowed back in.

Remember the "freedom of movement rule" that came in also when Fred was coach. Was supposed to bring back more offense to the college game. I think refs called it for one non-conference season and that was that.

This season is not a mulligan lol there have been like 5 firings / coaches stepping down in the last week in college basketball. And no, next year we will struggle with capacity outside of a few games. Your kicker of "unless we suck" is hilarious considering last year we were 9th in the Big 12 and this year we are in 10th and could win the next three games and still be 10th. We do suck. We aren't bringing in loads of transfers that will immediately help. And 1 freshman stud will not save us.

Prohm and I have roughly the same chance of coaching ISU next year.

From all these people with sources they all contradict themselves. I think most people on here hope for a certain outcome or play on people’s emotions.

He gone. Go back and listen to the CW and Blum pod from two weeks ago. CW doesn’t always just say it but this isn’t our first coaching change rodeo.

I love you, but you started this thread saying Prohm was coming back and now you say your Grandma says Hoiberg is coming. Did Grandma tell you both things?

Bahahahahaha oh naive jsb. How do you think my threads always get 1k posts? It’s not for the lack of scandalous thread titles. I have to meet certain quotas to get my CFbux.

I appreciate the effort. My fame on here is due to a mostly fake meltdown in 2015 so we all do what we have to do.
