Random Thoughts 15: Crystal Clear 2021 Edition

I still have some snow to melt. I think the last in the front should be gone by the end of the day tomorrow. The stuff in the back (north side) might take another day or two. With no rain the ground should hopefully stop being mushy after a few more days of sun and pull some good plugs.
Spring weather = finally getting the roof fixed.
Shingles get dropped tomorrow. Hopefully get a scheduled date with the contractor. Complication of having solar panels removed and reinstalled stopped it from happening last fall.
I will sleep easier knowing that it's more than just a tarp with some 2x4s keeping the rain out.

Aren't you supposed to leave all the stuff on top of the ground for a while to let the bees alone? That's what Facebook says.
I'm not going to be raking, just poking lots of holes for the seed to drop into. I'm not sure what facebook is telling us about bees.
Got hooked on The Expanse last night. Not my kind of show but I couldn't stop watching and I was up until 2am.
I need something to watch, maybe I'll give that a shot.
On the plus side I just got off a conference call without being tasked with anything.
I started a series on Netflix called The Keepers. Pretty nasty subject, but fascinating reporting nonetheless. The best part is, the character development is very high. Getting to know these people, and what they went through (and in some cases are still going through), makes it that much more involved.
I also recommend Line of Duty. It's an outstanding British cop show. First 4 seasons are on Prime and are only 6 episodes each.I need something to watch, maybe I'll give that a shot.

It's not streaming, it's on SYFY...but I highly recommend "Resident Alien". Tudyk is...the quintessential Tudyk. If you were a fan of him in Firefly, you'll be a fan of him here.

Started watch Marco Polo last week. Not too bad. Got your gratuitous nudity, got your super nasty villain, got your violence, got your Chinese court intrigue, got you Mongol hordes etc. Definitely NOT a docudrama, a highly fictionized drama but entertaining so far.
Maybe so. Can't help but see Shohreh Aghdashloo as anything other than her terrorist character from 24 season 4 though, which the actor who plays Errinwright was also in.Maybe it IS your kind of show.

I just destroyed a half bag of Starburst. Only ate the red and pink because the orange and yellow are nasty.
