Well you didn't get as much backlash as when you posted the video of the dancing killer robots at Christmas

You're running into some good photo ops in your daily driveabouts, eagles etc. Even giant wood rats in the corn. You should really get a good digital camera with a semi-decent telephone. And for all of the wildlife around your house!
LOL at all the people who are upset about actually starting the seniors on senior day. I'll be glad when the MBB season winds down, hopefully those people won't need so much preparation H.
I had a nice camera a while back. I dropped it in the Everglades next to a couple of alligators. I chose not to recover it.
If I was more serious about photography I would probably replace it. Unfortunately, my phone is just too convenient. It's several years old though...and the in-phone cameras have improved immensely since I bought my S7.

Mine own comment sent me down an internet rabbit hole of investigating super-zoom cameras. Thought it would be nice to have something for walkabouts or car drives when I wasn't LOOKING for birds etc. Always seem to see something when I am not lugging around the ginormous Nikon and bigly lens. Thinking something like an older model Canon Powershot SX540 might be worth spending my stimulus money on.
Might have to invite myself along for a couple of geo rides as guest photographer this spring once we all get vaccinated and prove to be relatively harmless to one another. I am so looking forward to getting out that I might even volunteer work on your deck project. #Imustbecrazy

I was in Iowa and got out for some good walks. The wildlife liked the sun and the patches of spots with no snow.
Saw two cranes in the sky on the way back on the WI side.
It's getting close.
Oh, we HIRED people to do the deck! It's a pretty substantial undertaking, and far too many moving parts and permits & shtuff for us to want to deal with.
Once we're able to get out of here a little more (post vaccinations) we'll be travelling farther afield for our caches (we have to - we'll run out if we stay local!). I can see a meet up somewhere along the way.
The fact Kurt Russell's botox and cosmo surgery was that noticeable from that obscure view is.......crazy.
