I would disagree with that. I’m encouraging you all to watch because once you see Drake play it is very clear how much of their success comes from coaching: gameplan, Xs and Os, and fundamental basketball. They play the game how it’s supposed to be played. It looks like a completely different sport than whatever Steve Prohm is doing with Iowa State

DeVries is my 2nd choice. I think he would be a great option, but I think someone is going to have to pay out for him. I don't really want to get in a bidding war.

I don’t know. None of us will know until he’s here or he stays. There’s not much point in wondering about it, we won’t know until we know

Im not sure what are chances are at landing him but I think this is the only time we have a realistic shot. If he's still there next year and winning, the competition will be too pricey for JP's liking. I don't think he'll be at Drake next year though.

He might, I don't know. I do however know he has a really good relationship with CSP. Other than that he is in Iowa City right now. So for the sake of this discussion, if Steve is gone and if DeVries is coach.....I would hope in the past he has had some kind of association with Foster. Because I would like to keep the guy.

He may be one of the hot coaches, but how many other P5 jobs will be open this year? I don’t know the answer but I’m guessing it will be fewer than a normal year.
