Wallace just decided to be done at the half I guess.

At what point do players start to sit out the season as soon as a national title is no longer an option?

I get it--they want to make their money and have the right to earn, but it's about to be as bad as NCAA basketball for competitiveness.
I get it but at the same time does he risk what happened to King for an otherwise meaningless bowl game though??

Kids need to do what is best for them.

If we didn't want sports to be all about money..... we shouldn't have made them all about money then.

When these kids have millions of dollars at stake.... and can get their family out of the horrible situation they might be in financially..... a bowl game seems awfully meaningless.

But that gets to my point about the insurance policies. Now that the NCAA is more lenient about NFL evaluations, there are opportunities to know how much is on the line for these kids. Have the NCAA or schools pay for policies for any senior that is expected to be drafted. Take that risk out of it.

So if a team loses 2 games is the season meaningless?

Indications are that he planned to just play one half so I guess he was immune from injury for that time and during practice/bowl prep.

They are not kids. My 5 yrs old is a kid. I didn't think I was a kid when in college.
