I wonder if they’ll have players opt-out for the game, North Carolina is losing most of its key players for their game. I believe their top5 pick lineman isn’t playing.

It's as simple as the above bolded statement. Games we lose, those are the problems.

It seems like an oversimplification but it's really not. We are now past the point where we need to play out of our ass to beat the vast majority of the teams out there. Play sound football, don't dig a hole, and let our defense settle in and dominate.

Most Duck fans aren’t happy with the product on the field and don’t take ISU lightly.

QB struggles with pressure and will likely have a tough time with ISU's defensive scheme. Not very quick on decision making. Defensively they are vulnerable to run and I expect a nice 100 plus day for Breece. The secondary is aggressive and will be a challenge. Brock will need to be the Brock we have known most of the season, which means the line needs to keep pocket cleaner. Saturday was the worst our line has been against pass rush since early in the season.

I am hoping two weeks of prep helps the qb.

Ramos looked a step or 2 slow. He better improve or purdy will have trouble.

With the way our coverage is, that average is gonna raise to around 30 or 40 yards per return. :D

Just tell him to kick it out of bounds.

If we can't get a guy who can endzone it, lets find a person who can knock it 50 yards high and 30-35 yards deep. Those middle guys on the 20-35 yard line either just fair catch it or fumble it half the time they try to run it. Would keep the long returns down.

Oregon beat USC (31-24) with only 280 total yards of offense. This is due to 3 USC turnovers.
Oregon beat UCLA (38-35) with the help of 4 turnovers from UCLA. UCLA had the final drive to tie or win the game, but turnover on downs.

I have family that lives in Oregon and have been out there a number of times.
Same and I get out there every year (but this one...). My dream is we get UO on the OOC schedule and play a game in Autzen. Cyclone Nation descending on Eugene would be a major league party.

Brief search stirred up this. Not near the traffic we do but it's something.

This was an interesting comment I found: Why would anyone be bummed to play us? Oregon is the premier West Coast team. Doesn't matter if our ranking is lower than usual. A win over us is always a quality win.

I agree with their sentiment and I doubt hardly any ISU fan is disappointed in playing Oregon. In a bowl I always want to face the biggest “name” possible. USC would be bigger, but Oregon is a big national brand that tends to get eyeballs.
