***Official College Football Playoff Rankings***

Will be interesting to see if Georgia jumps is for that six spot. I was hoping Missouri could at least hang in there today.

This won't happen. Georgia got throttled by Florida in their own stadium about a month ago. You can't have TWO loss Georgia who will NOT be representing the SEC Easst in the SEC title game ranked higher than TWO loss Florida who will be representing the SEC East in the SEC title game when Florida beat Georgia on the Bulldogs own field. Iowa State will be #6.

Pretty sure the game was in Jacksonville.

Florida won't be representing the SEC West. They'll be representing the East. Alabama's representing the West. Otherwise, we'll see.

Calling it now. Georgia will jump over us after they throttled at Mizzou team that didn't belong anywhere near the Top 25

Almost doesn't even feel like that hot of a take...
This is probably going to be true...but also true is that next week neither A&M or Georgia have Championship games...ISU does. If we can win that game it would be nice to jump those two teams...and probably end up at #5 when all said and done...unless NW beats Ohio State. Then we may actually be in the College football playoff...how crazy!

If Iowa State were to have a convincing win over OU and Bama/Notre Dame both win, there is an argument they should jump to #4 - especially if Ohio State doesn’t look great against Northwestern.
