Living out here in Colorado, I just found the following article that everyone might find interesting. The Denver Post is starting a '10 years later' article series about how CU is fairing in the Pac-12. Pretty interesting perspectives but ultimately not too surprising of a conclusion, CU would likely be in a better spot had they stuck in out in the Big 12.

So that's where Sean Keeler is now. That was a good read.

I'd take Colorado back, but as the article points out their move made the most sense in terms of fit, alumni, recruiting, etc. But money talks.

I wouldn’t. Weird things always seem to happen in road games out there.

Maybe you should wait until after the game to light up?

I was in attendance for the 1997 Troy Davis goes wild game... and we still lose 49-42. Murderer Rae Carruth was on that team.

I was also there on snowy day when Sage Rosenfels crushed the Buffs and most of the home fans left at halftime. 1999.

42% of CU's undergrads are out of state. That's incredible.

Yah its pretty surprising how many out-of-staters go to Boulder. Though when you factor in the cost of living in Boulder, its amazing any college student could live there. The average house cost in Boulder is $850k+ and you dont get much square footage for that. Many locals go to CSU as its much more affordable to live as a student. Hard to beat Boulder's setting though.

Boulder is amazing. I'd live there if it wasn't insane to buy a house let alone find one someone is selling.

Edit: There's a noodle place there called You and Me Noodles. Get the Szechuan noodle soup... Muh gawd so good!

The article focused on how Pac12 was a better fit because of student population from California and also CA as a prime recruiting territory. Would be curious how student population & recruiting from Texas compared back in 2010.

IMO the glaring issue with all the Big12 defections is lack of a big rival in their new conference.

e.g Mizzou vs KU, Neb vs OU, CU vs Neb. I am sure the thought process is CU and Utah would be rivals. From the outside it seems the Utah v. BYU rivalry is still bigger. Plus it seems that Utah vs. USC or UCLA is a bigger game for Utah because of So Cal recruiting.
