More worried about special teams than offense. Manning hasn't been great, but we've had plenty worse.
Overall I think he's good, but its hard to defend him when he dials up throws short of the sticks on 4th down

We could be a really special team right now with the right offensive coaching IMO.

Hasnt he put up the most points in school history a few times now? He isnt perfect, but there hasnt one been one better.
Now, I would agree that maybe not the best "system." Also, tough to do much with OLine issues. Need to get that corrected first.

No. His play calling and game plans CONSISTENTLY do not play to our strengths.

Our talent level is also probably the highest it’s ever been and the game’s pace is faster than it used to be.
Not if we want to get to a possible next level. I also want Matt Campbell to fire himself as special teams coach and get a real coach
I want a freaking special teams coach hired. Giving up 4 TD’s through 6 games has got to be close to some type of record.
I think what upsets the OP is that we only have had 1 x 100 yd rusher for the first 6 games. Should be 2 or 3 I suppose? Put another way, Hall is only leading the Big XII in rushing when we clearly should have the leading rusher in the nation each year.
He's decent half the time, and terrible half the time.... but that doesn't cut it if you ever want to take the next step from being a 6-8 win team.
Ya know, I'll take all the dumb posts I can posting about having a running game like we do now.
2 yd pass attempt on 3rd and 4 there..... so it didn't even matter that he didn't catch it... it wouldn't have been a 1st down anyway. Gotta love Manning!!!
If that makes you happy, putting up 30ish points per game with the NCAA leading rusher, and one of the best QBs in ISU history... then I guess we just have different expectations.
Hall is incredible, but Manning just abandons the running game for drives at a time. He outcoaches himself way too much
