Oklahoma State @ Baylor game Postponed this week

Cowboys will not have played for 21 days before they play the Cyclones on 10/24. Good for getting players healthy I guess but also could lead to "rust".

I watched part of that Baylor home game a couple (?) of wks ago. Their student section was a disaster, no masks, no distancing. Not surprised they can't get it right. Jamie usally announces the AD's Covid #'s every wk on the coaches corner , they have been really good so far and the student section and general crowd shots on the TV of the games look like the fans are doing things right in the stands.

As much as I like to make fun of Baylor, this isn't getting better any time soon and they won't be the only Big XII school to get hit by this before the end of the season.

Other schools may be affected but its easy to see which areas are taking this seriously enough just based on what we could see in the stands, and that will affect the risk each school has. The difference in mask-wearing and distancing between the fans at the ISU games and a lot of the games at southern schools was night and day

Baylor's first home game his season

Must be a state of TX thing. SMU was like that 2 weeks ago and other than the cadets or whatever they are at A&M, there weren't many masks and distancing vs FL in Saturday.

I was kind of hoping that we'd have 2 weeks to prepare and put in some offensive wrinkles they hadn't seen, while they had to prep for BU.

Also, I'd rather have University of Houston - or just about anyone - in the league instead of Baylor, given their rape-y ways.

Did you see the part where the entire football team lined up for congratulatory high fives from those same unwashed masses?

These idiots were BEGGING for COVID.

If that picture is really from their first game, then the student section should have been banned, fines, and future forfeits for Covid put in place.

Their Coach is an idiot for allowing it to happen. The player should be nowhere near the fans, especially the students.

**** Rapelor. The Big 12 needs to make a serious run at the AZ schools. The time is NOW to start getting rid of them and backfilling with better options.

That opens the conference realignment thread, UT and OU fans ***** allllll the time about how they should be in a "better" conference or independent. From their forums trust me the don't give two cents about where ISU would land if things get blown up. I'm guessing if push came to shove UT would back Baylor because "We're Texans ya'll"

It's really a good things fans aren't in charge of conference alignment there are some crazy ideas out there.

Big 12, learn from the NFL.
Move OU vs OSU to the 11/14, then OSU vs BU can play on the 11/21.
OR
Move BU vs TTU to the 11/21, then OSU vs BU can play on the 11/14.
This would cause OU to have to change something. I don't see that happening. It's moving the BU/Tech game or this isn't happening.

oSu being off this long may very well work to ISU's favor. I know coach Snyder hated off-weeks because of lost "rhythm" within his program.

Now the Pokes are off not two but 3-weeks (4 if you consider Ku an off-week) before hosting the team most likely to challenge them for the title.

Of course Baylor is the school that can't get this **** right.
Maybe it would help if the other teams all sent copies of their guidelines? A consulting call on Zoom?

I appreciate you trying to be the voice of reason, but this isn’t the first game they’ve had to postpone. You’d think they’d have learned their lesson. Meanwhile, we’re having no athletes test positive, and just one support staff member over something like 20 days.
