Iowa State -3 at TCU

I’ve gotta admit, I’m not sure how some of you folks can wager real money in this 2020/COVID-19 nuttiness where a team’s best players might be ruled out the day before a game—with no word whatsoever before kickoff.

Hats off to you!
I think my largest best is a few hundred dollars. Most bets are $25-$50. Makes other games more fun to watch and isn’t an uncomfortable amount of money where I seriously freak out.

I've decided I'm still confident in the Clones even if Duggan does play. We punked these guys in Ames last year and I think we got better and they got worse over the offseason. (I know, I know, UL). Us playing already is a massive advantage that can't be overstated. Clones by 13

Through 3 weeks of cfb betting I'm 7-14. I don't bet big so I don't lose or win big, but I'm finding out the in game bets are where it's gonna be at for cfb this year.

Sagarin has TCU by more than a touch.

Things have been so damn goofy the first few weeks I'm not sure I would put any weight into Sagarin until teams have a couple games underneath their belts. The wise guys clearly think Iowa State has a pretty big advantage in this one.

Hope you are right, ISU has not played a good game of football in their last 3 games.

I actually think we win by more, maybe 10 (24-14). I don't see us coming out blazing, just a solid Breece day, Kolar there to keep drives alive.

As much as maybe any Iowa State football game in the last 5 years-- I have no clue. We may win, we may lose. It may be close. It may be a blowout. I have absolutely no feel for this one.

I'm going to expect ISU to look better than their first game.

What that means aligns with what you're saying though.

Last season, Patterson said our coaches beat them because they weren't ready for the designed QB runs. It would be nice to hear something like that from the opposing coach again.

A win is a win is a win but I lump the KU game last year as some bad football on ISU's part. Defense was leaky and undisciplined and the offense was pretty weird iirc.

Does anyone know if we can still bet on sportsbook here? I have been able to find it. Thanks

Do we get tents on the sideline?
You may be joking, but...
For an early afternoon game, the sun will be beating down on both sidelines. Fortunately, it looks like there will be a nice south wind on Saturday, and the TCU stadium is somewhat open from that direction. Otherwise, with no breeze, that place is brutal in the open sun. I don't know why, but it just seems hotter than other stadiums.
