*** Yu-Gi-Oh! Mafia Game Thread ***

Just finished working and am now caught up. I agree that mafia wouldn't tie themselves to SCNCY on the very first day. I don't understand why people think JM is mafia. I'm somewhat biased (skol) but why does he look dirty?

Vote Cyme only because he's the best option in this scenario. Plus it's power hour.

Why these 3 specifically? Clonies because he voted for you and 2015/oldman because they voted for each other? Is there more to your thoughts than that?

Clonies has second vote on top vote getter both days, trying to blend in on voting innocent. 2015 is usually more sure of himself and wants to be in the action, so the oldman vote/counter vote seems contrived.
 
It’s seems possible all three of us are reg inno so mafia is likely loving this. If I get wacked by mafia if I make it through not lynched, remember who voted for me.

Sorry been out for the rest of today with work. My thinking at the time was that I’m not confident mafia would have blatantly put a hit on a guy that called out quite a few people yesterday. Just doesn’t seem like the smart thing to do especially on day 1.

Here's how it usually goes. Player X is near the top on Day 1 but survives. Same thing happens Day 2. Day 3 rolls around and people are still wondering about Player X and keep voting for them. If they are mafia, then let's get rid of them. If not, mafia is loving having someone get heat instead of them. Unless something more concrete comes up, Player X is a distraction until we know their role.

You happen to be Player X this game.

I get it. But it’s garbage and a waste of votes and time. Then lead the charge on someone else unless your the mafia enjoying it.
 
NIGHT REPORT:

@GBlade thought he had everything figured out as he prepared a magic card to use if the mafia came calling. Unfortunately for him, the mafia used De-Spell and sent GBlade to the Shadow Realm.

GBlade was a regular innocent.

Day 3 begins now.
 
Well, where do we go from here? Starting at about 9:00 this morning I’m going to be busy at work pretty much all day, so I wanted to at least share my thoughts before then:

First, I realize my voting on day 1 was the final vote that sent spiker home, so clearly I’m not perfect either. Of course my vote was at 4:47 PM, and I would have thought more votes would have affected the outcome after that. The votes that did come in afterwards were KC voting for 2015 (5:11 PM), Discy voting for KC at 6:44 PM, and CYme voting for me at 8:46. Of course we know now that CYme is inno, but it makes me wonder if KC or Discy’s votes were just throw away votes.

Looking at KC, her reason on day 1 was that she forgot and couldn’t think of who to vote for besides 2015. Her day 2 vote for JM was also suspect IMO. As far as Discy goes, he voted for KC both days, but since I’m also suspicious of KC at this point I guess I shouldn’t hold that against him.

We also have some players that have been pretty quiet thus far. I’m looking at North and Cubs.

North voted for Cubs day 1 and at the time North’s vote put 3 votes on Cubs when nobody else had more than 1 vote. He said that we should get the train rolling. On day 2, North voted for CYme with no explanation at all.

Cubs voted for Crazygreg on day 1 with no explanation, and on day 2 he had a late vote for SCNCY. Otherwise we haven’t seen much conversation from either Cubs or North.

Im curious about JM, for the reason Michael said last night about him being “player X”. But based on how JM is playing this game vs past games, I just get the feeling JM is inno. I could be wrong, but who knows.

Also there is something off about oldman and 2015 voting for each other yesterday instead of for one of the vote leaders.

TLDR: I have lots of theories but nothing too concrete. Also, I’m going to vote KC.
