Yeah I don't really care much about the method...seems to just be a pretty easy way to check on general trends even if the numbers vary.
Completely agree. But what I find really discouraging is the number of cell phones sold spinning so rapidly. The dumps must be growing with toxic waste at an alarming rate.

What do you mean by spinning?

I didn't look into it so not familiar.

The study looked at 100 patients (median age of just 49) who recently recovered from Covid-19, most of whom were asymptomatic or had just mild symptoms. The researchers, who performed MRI scan of their hearts an average of 2 months after they first were diagnosed with Covid-19, uncovered some concerning findings: 78% of patients had ongoing heart abnormalities and 60 percent had myocarditis, inflammation of the heart muscle. Even more concerning was that the extent of myocarditis was not related to the severity of the initial illness or overall course of the illness.

this study has already been ripped apart by peers for its poor statistical analysis

Not to mention avt age was 75!

how many75 yr olds have some form of heart issue? 90%?

just to add.. I’m not saying there can’t be heart issues with Covid... But maybe all those studies that blamed HCQ for heart issues was actually Covid not HCQ

Do you have a link to a critique of this study?

The median age of the patients was 49. Maybe you're thinking of a different study.

One issue with testing is the PCR test still picking up viral fragments up to 10-11 weeks AFTER a person is no-longer contagious. 88% of the infected are no longer contagious 10 days after symptoms. 95% are no longer contagious after 15 days. 99-100% no longer contagious after 20 days. PCR tests are still showing up positive up to 70+ days after a person is no longer contagious.

Data pulled from the CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/duration-isolation.html

Is the PCR test the nose swab one ?

If things go like they have for the last several weeks. Yesterdays number of cases will be the high point and we should drop off for a couple days and then start to climb again and peak again on Friday. Positive is that the peak has been a lower peak for four consecutive weeks now.

ABC news just helped me remember why I don’t pay attention to network news much. They have an article I found on msn that talked about Covid at universities and tied the 175 that was found during ISU checkin to the weekend parties that were there. They are two totally separate things, but hey, it sounds better they way that make it sound, right?

Still stair stepping it’s way down. Iowa is still treading water though

I feel like Iowa's doing the 'it is what it is' thing and I hope the outcome is OK.
Have family and friends that I'd assume are about like this in talking about Covid.

On Friday night ABC news called out ISU Muir said "Breakouts on college campuses like Notre Dame and Iowa State". It blew my mind I had heard nothing about breakouts at ISU. I know Notre Dame has had a good number of cases but like you said ISU has had their numbers during check-in but that is it. More BS from the main stream media making **** up.
