Yellowstone NP

We rented a house outside west entrance. Wasn’t bad. At least a half hour out though or more.

I stayed at the Big Sky resort when out there for business. Very short drive into the park. It was very nice, but sounds like you are looking for a little more wilderness feel.

I would like to be in the elements. I’d straight tent camp if I could get my wife to do it. She needs a few amenities. Like a bathroom. Pfffffffft.

Put together a video of our time in Yellowstone from a couple weeks back. We had a great time.

Yellowstone 4k

Looks like a great trip!

Was that your parents that were that close to momma bear and her little one? I would have been pretty darn nervous in that moment for sure.

Thank you for eliminating Nub. Our son lives in Greeley and we were out there a couple of weeks ago. I-80 is a mind-numbingly dull drive.

FoCo is a great place. Our original plan, down to Great Sand Dunes NP, across to Mesa Verde NP, up to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP and then back through Rocky Mountain NP was carona'd.

It is still awesome getting up in the Rockies. https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipPuFx6ZY-CoAnAEb8mXKZDzviZ3K17zvi7YXvg

No, they were just near me because I had bear mace.
