Lame story. I was "recruited" during the summer before freshman year. After living there for a week I wasn't feeling it. I knew somebody from high school that had a dorm room to himself, so I moved in and we became really good friends.
Ahh gotcha. I was going to say, I feel like it'd be hard to become a member of a frat for just one week haha. But that makes more sense haha. I was in a fraternity, but lived in the dorms freshman year and that was the best decision I made I think. Frat was alright, but I wasn't gung ho on it. Mostly did it for the sports events during homecoming and veishea (rip), the free intramurals, and made some life long friends. The whole "living in the house" thing was something I was over very quickly.

I fell for the pitch when a couple of guys came to my house and thought it sounded good. I thought it would be a good idea to make friends easy and save some money on housing while still eating some good food. It turns out I was fine meeting people on my own, and I wasn't interested in the whole "brotherhood" or freshman b**** thing of a frat.

Yeah, I knew noone coming to ISU either and was a bit worried about that but I feel like you have to try not to meet people your freshman year haha. A lot of my best friends i met in the fraternity didn't end their time at ISU in the house. I did my semester living in and got out and did the minimum after that haha

Enough about frats. What number is everyone choosing? drop it in a reply below.
