97-98 Bulls Documentary (The Last Dance)

I was at game six. I haven’t see the last couple of episodes, so if this was shown, my apologies.

At the end, after the trophy presentation, a fan threw a huge coke all over Rodman! He went off and it took 5 security guys to keep him back. There are idiots everywhere.

Had forgot about Pippen's back being so screwed up in that Game 6.

If the Derrick Rose injury didn't happen, it would have been nice to see how long a run of competitive ball we would have had.
I think we definitely would have competed for some titles, that team was pretty well built to take down LeBron and co... If that injury doesn't happen. All said though bulls fans are delusional about Derrick's actual legacy, I have uncles who swear he's a hall of famer.

Haha, yeah, no. But he had a good run still considering.

Jordan jumped into Rik Smits on the jump ball and caused him to tip it poorly.

By the way I don't know if they covered in at the beginning of episode 9 but in 93 Bulls are playing in Indy. Reggie pushes MJ, MJ then throws a punch at Reggie and only Reggie gets tossed.

They talked about it, but I don't recall them saying anything about Miller getting tossed.

I know Miller was good but what level of superstar was he at the time? Like a top 20 player, top 5?

Mailman doesn't deliver on Sundays. :D
It physically hurt tonight watching those episodes. I still have my Karl Malone Jazz and Team USA jerseys. All those WCF and Finals losses were so painful. I loved watching that team so much- I wish they could have gotten just one trophy.

I was struck by one of the earlier episodes. Jordan had just arrived in town and was giving an interview where he said something along the lines of how he’d like to get Chicago to the point where it could be viewed as a winning organization, like the Celtics. But the way he said it, I got a complete deja vu... It reminded me soooo much of Derrick Rose talking about the quest of becoming the MVP. “Why can’t it be me?”
