I don't think they necessarily care about the attributes that might lead to an offer from a service academy or Ivy league for that matter.

Kid has played one year of football.
This kid looks awesome! Looks like a great athlete with ball skills who projects as a safety at the next level. Wow. Could be really special.
I think with Langston, Freyler, Army and Purchase, our secondary will quickly become a strength for this defense.
There are still a few offers out there and I like the Frazier kid as well, just may take more time for him.

I was just going to say the same thing, also military academies. Also other big time offers.
Wisconsin wanted him pretty bad.
He went very under the radar because he only played one year of football and couldn't attend the camps.
We were lucky to pull Mick McCall. He brought us Freyler and Purchase

the more depth you have at LB/DB the better your special teams are because those are who play special teams usually....

Could argue that is the bigger depth chart need for us right now? Watching the video he can run decent routes, blows by people, and can make people miss on offense
