Playing Tennessee in Tennessee for the Liberty Bowl...par the course for Iowa State.

Not that I wouldn't want to play Tennessee in the Liberty Bowl, because that'd be awesome. It just seems so Iowa State.

I got that email too. Hopefully it won't come to pass, but if it does, I'm in. I was in Memphis two weeks ago. Actually drove down a deserted Beale street which is normally closed to traffic. Best marquee sign on a blues bar: "No more live bands. Wash your hands!"

Playing Tennessee in Tennessee for the Liberty Bowl...par the course for Iowa State.

Not that I wouldn't want to pay Tennessee in the Liberty Bowl, because that'd be awesome. It just seems so Iowa State.

My story from the last Liberty:

Pandy Reterson tripped on the stair from the oyster bar into main bar at Silky O Sullivan’s at about 11 last night. I kind of reached out to make sure he didn’t take a header but he caught himself for the most part.
Me “God damn it Randy, don’t blow out anoth.....”
Randy “I know, I know.”

I’d be down for another trip to Memphis if we are matched up with an SEC team, not a G5 school.

If a trip to Dallas or New Orleans remains out of reach, I want to go back to San Antonio. Most fun I've had on a bowl trip
