If you rate a post, I know you got it. If the person I sent it to didn’t rate a post, I would know they’re mafia.

If I’m mafia, I would probably rate the post to clear my name as a safety measure. Hence saying anyone who rates that specific post is suspicious. Aka you.

How about this: Whoever is the detective investigates Cubs tonight. Then go back to an old post of mine and “like” it if he’s innocent, “dislike” if he’s mafia, or “winner” if he’s a zombie. That way I’ll know what the heck is going on at least.

But before this becomes a thing, for the integrity of the game, I think using post ratings to give out clues should be avoided. It kind of bends the no PMing rules unless your role allows it. If you have a thought you'd like to convey, post it in the thread for all to see.

Really isn’t that confusing. If you rated it and I didn’t give you the doll, your suspicious. If you rated it and I did give you the doll, you’re clear.

I think I'm going to have to go on a like spree tonight to make sure people aren't sending info through that feature.

I actually like the use of ratings. The information is public for anyone to find if they want to dig hard enough.
Not much different than using subtle clues in person.
