Survivor: Winners at War

The other players will push the narrative that him bailing on them cost them the vote, but it sure looked like things were turning against him during tribal.

Not to mention I'm pretty sure it was his last chance to use it. So yeah you gotta look out for #1.

We started redemption island where Rob wins. How does this Phillip guy make it to the end??

Because Rob wanted it that way. Rob's mental dominance that season was brilliant. Wouldn't work now as we're obviously seeing, but it works with noobs.

My rankings right now as for best chance to win (excluding EOE folks).

1. Jeremy
2. Sophie

Havent you read the spoilers on the internet?
Tony is in the final 3

He has been verified to be a CIA agent. Anyone remember Coach? That guy was fun to watch and an odd duck also.

It's hard to predict this year. Seems like the strong players from the week before get voted out the next week.

Coach is one of my least favorites to be honest. Agree he is a very odd duck as well

I have a hard time ranking people at this point as it is so fluid from week to week right now. I think that if the strongest players in Tony, Sarah, Ben, Sophie, and Nick stick with their 5 for as long as they can Michelle, Kim, and Jeremy are as good as gone without some form of immunity. I was not a fan of Tony coming into this season but I have softened on him this time as he's playing a lot smarter game I think. For a season with all winners you would think they have enough mutual respect for each other that it makes sense to work with the people you think are most deserving to win and beat them in the end.

The one angle I dislike about extinction is the player or players who get back into the game basically have bonded with the jury so you don't want them sitting at the final 3 with you. Tyson being voted out twice now, if he somehow makes it back a 3rd time I would be really disappointed if the jury were to vote him the winner if he makes it into the final 3. Even if someone other than Tyson gets back in if I were the other people sitting next to them at final tribal my biggest argument to the jury would be that I didn't get voted out once in this game and that person did so what makes them more deserving to win this season than me when I navigated a tougher path by avoiding elimination through all the votes.

Yeah EOE is definitely exciting TV and is great for players as they're down but not out. That being said, there are still some holes with it such as jury bonding as you mentioned. Also, Yul got screwed because he had little to no time to collect tokens to help him in the challenge to get back in. All in all, I'd prefer to NOT have EOE but I totally understand why they did it this season. Many of the players told Jeff they didn't want to leave families and fly out for 3 days and be done. They all wanted a chance to the end. And if that is what it takes to get an all winner's season, I'm down with it.

I heard season 38 was a dry run for this season in terms of EOE. My guess is in two weeks we'll see the final chance to get back in as Chris Underwood came back a tad too late in my opinion.

WHAR Denise?
She aligned herself poorly, I think. I don't think Michelle is trustworthy, and Kim is not as strong a player as Sarah or Sophie. Jeremy? His goose is pretty much cooked, IMO.

Four of the other five I think have a very good chance to make it. Nick is the bottom-feeder in that alliance, IMO. The other four seem pretty tight.

Yeah Denise should have aligned herself with Sarah instead of the people she did. I don't see her lasting too much longer unfortunately. Michelle and Kim really have no trust with anyone at this point so their best shot to hang around was to blindside the strong alliance last night. Tony said it best, you get rid of the hyenas now else they hang around and pick you off when they sense weakness.

Secret scenes showing more chatter about people realizing Sophie is in a really good spot and she's becoming a target.

Are you talking about aired confessional scenes, or something from the internet? Because I didn't notice that in the confessionals.

CBS shows secret scenes after the episode. One of them was Kim telling her husband that Sophie is doing great in this game and is becoming a big target.
