Don’t misunderstand: I loved watching Jake play, and Fred knew exactly how to use him. I just suspect that the fanatical portion of this fanbase wouldn’t be thrilled to see a similar player sign right now.

Murphy would be really nice, looks like he'll be pretty coveted. He's exactly the kind of player we missed last year.

This guys rebounding numbers are crazy for a guy his size. Also good 3pt shooting. Great efficiency. Kind of like Hogue maybe? I’ve never saw him play.
Travis Steele’s staff lands a lot of transfers and closes them quickly. Now that they’ve gotten two, hopefully they’re filling up/a less attractive option - we seem to be competing against them frequently.
This plus adding the fact there was bad blood between Illinois and Iowa this year, sign me up for someone who isn't afraid to play a little dirty. Gotta fight fire with fire sometimes.
