Happened last year at Blackhawk game. Guy was a cpa.

Awesome story. Heard his contract was $500.00 for an appearance and he gets to keep the jersey. So glad there is something to block Ovechkins 700th I don’t need to see that 500 times over the next 24 hours. Puke.

He did well, really Carolina stepped up pressure to keep him unoccupied but had 6 of 8 saves i think.

Can you imagine the crowd if he performed this well as an emergency backup goalie for the opponent? The poor guy would have to move from Chicago!

Haha, it's pretty cool, but I don't know why they can't just dress up one of their other guys as the goalie, kind of like when baseball teams have to go to an emergency catcher, or when an NFL teams specialist gets hurt.
