So you’re saying don’t just open a bag of Kingsford charcoal in the backseat for a week?

It would probably help, but first break them up and give them some surface area.

Or you could throw the bag in the back seat and set it unfire, that would fix it.

About 20 years ago, some friends of ours were hanging out on a beach on Maui. A small entourage came down to the beach and set up a place with a bunch of blankets, towels and umbrellas. A guy came down and sat in one of the chairs. The husband said to the wife, "That looks like the Aerosmith dude in drag." It was Steven Tyler.

Also, to correct you, it's Ariana Lavato Gomez.

He has a woman whose job is to apply his make up correctly.

That's a good tip. Worth a shot.

I would but I'm not patient enough to do it without lighter fluid and I don't want to deal with that smell.

Is there such thing as the terrible nearly 5s? LittleWx is fighting us more than ever before.

Smoked some great ribs on Saturday so I did my part to support our favorite RTT pork producers.

Is it naptime yet?
My friends are having quite the time with their 16 year old daughter. She fights them on everything. Her mom is always lamenting about how she wishes her daughter would love her again.
I have know this girl since she was a young child. She's a pretty good kid, just going through the surly teenage years.

Had our company's holiday party on Saturday night, 227 people in attendance. Great food, lots of good fellowship, tons of prizes given away. Also had a group there to play live, some of you may have heard them around the DM area. The band is called Jimmy the Weasel, the boss's daughter is the lead singer.

Best part about the whole night was when the company's matriarch, 97-year-old Marian Beisser, got up and danced.

We all had a blast.

There are things that kids will tell certain parents. My oldest son will not talk about his girlfriend with me, but most of everything else. My daughter will talk to me more than my wife. She is head strong and patience will help with that, I have more than my wife. Teenage girls can be tough

We went to Target today. I was wearing my red ISU sweatshirt. A lady asked me where the cottage cheese was. I was also wearing sweat pants, and it was a hoodie with bright yellow strings.

I told her where the cottage cheese was. I spend too much time at Target.

You need to shop at Scheels, then you can be mistaken for a Gophers fan instead.

Kids go through phases at any/all ages. My 16yr old is a dream. My 8yr old is so moody right now, she is worse than her two teenage sisters put together.

Not gonna start a new thread...any recs for a fitbit/smartwatch type of device that's not actually those, i.e. something less expensive and less 'techy'?

Basically just looking to know time and steps/mileage in a day.

And, can you turn off the 'message notifications' on these? I like to separate myself from being contacted and/or know I'm being contacted.

@CycloneErik has a watch that can track some things. It's been long enough I don't remember what all it can do.

Apps exist that use the built-in sensor in your phone if you don't want to purchase a separate device.
