I think one way would be the fact those two teams beat ISU and finished above. But yes I agree ISU gets a bump when it comes to fan travel. A bowl in memphis again will hurt that reputation this year imo.

We’ve jumped teams before, we could jump them again. Bowls are only about dollars. We bring the fans but we may not bring the matchup this year. I think an 8-4 KSU with a first year coach that beat us listlessly is going to stay above us though.

Kentucky QB has put up like 1,100 rushing yards in like 7 games he's started.

All you have to do is look back to 2017 when we lost to both WVU and KSU, finished with the same record, and got selected for a bowl game before they did.

Every prediction site I've looked at this morning has us in the Liberty Bowl playing either Kentucky or Tennessee. Regardless, if we wind up in Memphis, we all need to show up.
