Early "experimentation" key for new look Cyclones as season beckons

Playing real big has to mean Zion at the 3 which is interesting.

One thing I've noticed about Prohm, is that he names the guys that he likes. He's talked about Grill and he's definitely talked about Jackson.

To be fair, outside of the Big 12 tournament there hasn’t been a lot to remember

2017-2018
---
Won the Puerto Rico tip-off in Myrtle Beach
Beat Iowa, make JoBo cry
Took Kansas down to the wire in Lawrence
70-52 over #8 Texas Tech
93-77 over #15 West Virginia
88-80 over #17 Oklahoma
Took them down to the wire again in Ames

2018-2019
---
77-60 over #5 Kansas, and it was not as close as the score
68-64 over #8 Texas Tech in Lubbock, their only home loss last season
87-73 over #20 Ole Miss in Oxford
78-64 over #18 Kansas State in Manhattan

There was a lot good to remember if you were paying any sort of attention.

I swear you ******* people must not be watching games outside of Hilton and/or won't be satisfied until we go 42-0 or something like that sometimes.

Destroying Kansas in Hilton last year and beating almost NCAA tourney champions on the road didn't do it for you?

If last year was disappointing to you, then you have been disappointed with every season of Cyclone basketball with the possible exception of 1999-2000.
That’s a huge leap. Good lord.

Expectations greatly influence feelings of disappointment or contentment. Context matters as much as winning percentage.

look at you trying to infer context when you can use it to go after the coach, all the while completely ignoring it in order to go after the coach.

There were definite high points in '18-19 (many of them stated already.)

Yes, there was disappointment and underachievement --- some frustrating losses at home, first-round exit from the tournament (having at least one 11 over 6 upset is hardly uncommon, btw). Looking at big picture, it wasn't devoid of memorable moments.
