Tents = Coats/Heaters?

Meh these are the types of things fans of losing teams talk about. Yeah it wasn’t fair but we had every chance to win the game and didn’t execute.

On to TCU

Is anyone using it as an excuse? It was a bush league move and people can say that. Only idiots think that mentioning things means that it is the only excuse for a loss.

I never said it was an excuse. I’m just saying if we had taken care of business it wouldn’t be discussed.

So by this logic, other teams coming into our stadium should have to get approval for heaters and coats prior to the game. We need to lay in wait and see if teams don't get that approval, and then ask the conference to take action during the game like BU did today.
let's see if the league will stand by that when texas comes to town later this year

If that is the case then someone on ISU's staff really S(*& the bed. They have known the game was going to be hot. Unless this is like one of those rules that nobody enforces, except for something like this and F*** Baylor pulls a chicken move.

That's a poor excuse. That's what losers say to deflect blame from the staff and team.

Sounds like common sense to say 122 degrees is uncomfortable, even without trying to perform at a high P5 level.

Not allowing an injury tent was a dikk move. If a team forgot to ask for heaters in late November I would hope we would allow them for their safety.

They wouldn't allow an injury tent? I thought that was standard procedure now? Either way, we should have said they were rape tents, and we probably would have gotten the OK.

Thing is, 120 + degree heat is dangerous. Shame on CMC for not getting "permission," but even more shame on Baylor and the Big 12 for risking player health over a technicality.

Not sure what the issue would be with Big12 in ISU having tents and need to get prior approval. 120 is dangerously hot and I would think student athlete safety would come first.

That said, ISU lost because of their play between the lines. TCU becomes a huge game!
