1. The line for the Baylor game stinks. 6-7 point movement on this line with almost all the money going on ISU. If we cover, casinos take a bath on this game.
2. Can we please eliminate all threads dealing with Iowa, I have CyHawk fatigue.
3. Big XII power rankings, when some teams haven’t even played a conference game.
4. Running back threads- we are averaging 5.5 YPC this year vs 3.4 the previous 2 years. We will be fine.
5. Where did the Midweek Mailbag go? I have questions that need answers.

I guess I don't care if Casinos lose money. Seems weird to post that as number 1. I kind of agree on 2-5, especially 2. Especially 2-Band related.

Edit: NM. I see you're 'VegasCy'

I’m saying they usually don’t, that’s what bothers me.

That was from a Draft Kings source, so not local. I don’t know how my books that would encompass

We are spoiled, no doubt, but I am concerned with Kene's health, Croney's pitiful YPC, Lang's durability, and two true freshman that look like the best option right now. Lots of moving parts at this point in time.

Yeah, but sometimes they do. They obviously are begging people to put money on Baylor by moving it 6 points and still can't get anyone to bite. Contrary to popular belief Vegas does not try to dupe people into betting on this team or that. They want equal action and make a living off the juice because they understand the most important thing in sports gambling... there is no such thing as a sure bet.

Also, Chris said that someone put 50k on ISU to cover and that is accounting for a lot of the lopsided money.

He is like Kene, but can throw the ball. Not sure he could handle more than 10 carries a game. Just need to find a 15-20 carry a game guy, someone you can depend on for 3rd and 2 or to run the draw on 3rd and 11 and have a chance to do something.

Is almost all of the money really on ISU?
I would be willing to bet any future inheritance that half the money is on Iowa State and half the money is on Baylor and the line will adjust accordingly so that is always true

Yes, Vegas wants to maximize profit and minimize risk. However, in the past 8 years in college football, road teams getting over 70% of the action, cover 44% of the time. I think ISU wins and I hope this is one of the 44% games.

ISU would need to decide to run the ball on 3rd and 2 first.

That's when they'll pull out some pass to the far side flats that they haven't run before.

I can honestly say I've never done any sports betting. I've done fantasy sports, and some FanDuel type stuff but that is about it.

So this is probably a dumb question. Would something like this be an even money bet? or do they put odds on this? I really should look into it some, It is something I have always had some interest in but not enough to really get into the betting lines and payouts etc.
Anyone got any good sites to check out and see how all the pay structures etc work?
