I would doubt we'll be rated higher than Iowa, which I actually like. I want them to be rated higher when they come to Ames so when we win, Iowa fans won't say "well you were suppose to beat us so it doesn't matter".

An AP guy had us as his #8.. Love him.

That was his projection as to where we will "finish" the year. He uses his Pre-Season AP poll as a way to show how he thinks teams will finish the year rather than what he believes going in.

Either way, he's now my fav. ap voter.
