Little man has another cold.......so far doesn't seem like the last one but still watching closely. DH texts after daycare dropoff.

"Idk why they're always sick. Little man crawled over to baby A, gently ran his hand over A's face and then stuck his fingers in his own mouth."

also, he's learning to clap and omg, it would melt even Pant's heart of stone. Speaking of, I haven't seen him in this thread in a long time.

He's been busy saving the world in the Cave. I peek in there but can't take prolonged exposure to it;).

Another couple of months and he'll be walking.

If I told you who he was (last name at least) you would probably have an idea and know why some of yourself was a little expensive for a few years.
Meredith Wilson? Jodi Husentruit (sp?)? Pants?

That's the extent of my knowledge of famous people in Mason City?

A lot of people who ar determined that only they are right.

Surprised some haven’t told you to have your wife “dance” for more income.

That is very true. As I said there I take all responsibility for the dumb things we have done but to usually the same people that are telling us to just buck up and pay it all off as fast as possible and what not are also the same generation that didn't teach us about finances or what loans really meant. Whatevs it's all good. I am very excited for our future once MrsWx finishes nursing school we will be set up to win financially.

Wellif she doesn't declare the cash tips (if so inclined though not legal) it could be a quick way to increase the cash flow.

Not to get too far into political weeds........I think it can be difficult for older generations to fully understand some of the challenges for workers starting out today - especially if they didn't make 100% perfect financial decisions along the way. I think previous decades you could get away with that and recover a bit easier. Too lazy to dig up links but the studies that show the projected lost lifetime income for people who graduated into the Recession is really depressing. It becomes easy to blame it on well they bought a car that's too expensive or should have worked more in college when to me those are kinda drops in the bucket compared to how much healthcare/tuition/daycare/housing prices have increased vs wages and the disappearance of pensions or other types of guaranteed retirement income. I think it's probably also easier to blame the individual for poor decision-making than to ponder some of those bigger themes and how we address them with the limited power we have.

Of course small things can have a big impact and I'm not saying that people don't have a responsibility to live pursue a lifestyle within their means. Just have a little empathy that maybe there's some challenges today that weren't as prevalent for those who came before.

Not exactly sure.
Mid terms out. Now someone explain to me why the only Bs on any report card are things that the BC surname is known for as our expertise?

In schooling anyway.

Dustin honken. Had a documentary on TV about him. Still alive.

Not the date guy though.
I googled him. He qualifies as famous. He was born the same year as me so I wondered if I played any sports against him in high school. Probably not since I was never literally murdered during a high school athletic event. Interesting. It says he's a native of a different town.
