Lard Transferring

My comments were more directed toward the Wigginton situation than Lard. Im not fully convinced Lard deserved to start this year over Jacobson, but I think he could have been utilized a little more than 12 minutes a game. There were 40 mpg to be distributed at his position and alot more if Prohm would have ever played 2 bigs together.

I agree it would have been nice to see Prohm play Jacobson and Lard in the game more often, but the issue with Lard was foul trouble. In Big12 contests he averaged 3.42 fouls in 14.4 mpg. It not like some outliers distort that average- he had 3 or more fouls in all but a couple Big12 games.

Lard is a talented player, so I hope he gets into a situation where he can get his head on straight to develop into a pro player.

This is harsh, and I've seen the usual suspects are offended by your post but its completely the truth. Chemistry issues arise when guys have to sit on the bench and watch players they are better than make mistake after mistake with no chance of being held accountable.

CSP is gravitating towards the Ferentz method of not putting the best talent on the floor and not giving his team the best chance to win. He would rather play someone because "they are a good kid" , "they try really hard in practice", or they "know the playbook better".

I wish you were MY Dad.

Dad - can I go to the mall?

Son - did you finish your chores?

Nope.

Whatever - have a nice time at the circus.

Wigginton is maybe more of a head-scratcher but it's also much more minor in the amount of playing time. He played about the same number of minutes as the other guards. Put up very similar conference stats. Had slightly less usage but I don't think that's any big surprise given Shayok was on the team.

Lard to NW St. This info is not from my grandma so I’m not sure how accurate it is.

That would be a big step down, if true.

#342 last year on Barttorvik (out of 353, so bottom 3.1% of college ball)

11-20 overall, 6-12 in the Southland Conference

#11 in the conference (out of 13), only better than McNeese St. and Incarnate Word

Sam Houston State won the regular season, Abilene Christian won the conference tournament and was a #15 in the NCAA tournament, lost to Kentucky at 44-79

29/32 in conference quality on here...

Even bad Lard should murder that conference.

Dendy going to Middle Tennessee St. and C-USA was a way higher level than that.

Have there been any tweets at all listing teams that are in on the Lard transfer?

That's interesting except what to me made Drake decent was being fundamentally sound by habit.

He could have a season like LaRon Dendy did out at Denver just having more physical talent than most in his conference.
Sure, if you watched a Denver game, Dendy still didn't have a clue what he was doing or what was going on, but he got noticed for a little bit.
