***Official March Madness Thread***

You can slice it up any way you want, but the Big Ten has brought it thus far in the tournament. We will see how Sunday goes for them, but credit is due at this point. Whether Nova was weak or not, Purdue beat the crap out of them. Iowa, Minnesota and Ohio State all beat teams seeded better than they were. And their only first round blemish was Wisconsin, who lost to a team that is on fire right now in Oregon. Even Maryland went toe to toe with LSU yesterday and lost on a buzzer-beater.

My point is that Nova shouldn't have even been a 6 seed. This has nothing to do with the Big 10.

I was sitting at a blackjack table for the full Maryland-LSU game (without hearing the sound which could definitely be a plus) and what an impressive game that was.

Quality big men involved in that game.

What a concept!

Definitely a throwback to a bygone era.

I'm dead tired of the ball screen/dribble handoff jack a three game.

Don't agree. Nova had an RPI of 15, SOS of 18 - many picked them to beat Purdue going in. I would have seeded them a #5
Very impressive win by Purdue.

So is nearly every team Iowa plays. Hopefully Tennessee routs them bad, but I won't hold my breath. Iowa seems to always get breaks like you can't believe.

Fran saying both teams could be in the hundreds should tell you all you need to know.

Fran going with his "Vanilla Ice" lineup I see. And Tennessee just taking the ball away from them and getting layups on the other end.

In what world is CMac a college level point guard? Only in Daddy's eyes I guess?

Gotta admit, Tennessee's turnaround under Barnes has been so impressive. If it came down between Barnes and Beard for COTY, I'd have a hard time choosing.
