Mail Order Brides

Holy ****. I've always thought this was how I was going to get my MOB. I can't imagine this happens to 2 of us on this board so I guess I'm going to have to pony up.
"...so I went out with this guy and told him I was a mail order bride and he actually believed me!"
So this woman basically admitted she MOB'd to get out of Pakistan. Feel sorry for the poor sap who paid to get her and is probably still paying her.
And the story about the bride from Arkansas, that sounds really odd. I know that rural Iowa may seem desolate at times (married so I don't pay close attention to this anymore) but having to MOB to another state seems like the woman was in an awful situation.
A guy who worked for me had one. She was mean and unattractive. Figured he went on the cheap, don't go on the cheap if this woman was any indicator.
There is also a TV about this, 90 day engagement or something. Stumbled upon it and couldn't stop shaking my head.

I tried resisting on clicking on this thread and now all my freaking pop up ads from Gabriella wanting to tell me a secret.
Someone mentioned that show in RTT so I don't know how many times I see that show and stop and watch a few minutes of that train wreck. Where do they find those people?
That was me. The one dude who is around 40 and trying to marry this 20 year old from central america somewhere is bad. He can't speak her language and all conversations are through the phone interpreter. Romance right there.
While that youngin' looks attractive, when you both age 10 years, they will be 30 and still fairly attractive, you will be 50 and aging quite a bit.
Acquaintance and FB friend of mine got sucked into some Asian gal dating site. Yeah, seriously dumb as ****. Next thing you know I am getting friend requests from gals in the Philippines who had friended him and saw me on his list of FB friends. Guess I looked dumb, lonely and well to do or something. Just ignored them all and noticed one was still in my "request" list the other day. Her profile picture now includes her with some old balding Caucasian guy. Too funny. I am guessing she isn't waiting on my "friend" reply anymore.
