This KC says you should absolutely hit KC. If you are kind of a foodie type you have to try THE PARLOR, a high end, multi level food court in the famous Crossroads neighborhood.. The best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life there from Farm to Market- the pastrami—-the best Asian food - Sura Eats—- Korean street food-and a bunch of great choices as you would expect from this food court concept eg NY style pizza.. http://www.parlorkcmo.com/ I could also give a dozen other recommendations if you’re interested in the best food around here. For instance, you seriously can’t find better taquerias in the country outside of San Diego and LA than in KCK.. Superlative tacos, homemade tortillas, $1.50 each. Or if you want to try an excellent papusa also cheap El Salvadoran staple I know where to send you... etc etc

Hey man, a few more things on your very nice list- Sasha’s is closed, new owner and name - Banksia- now an Aussie joint- is run by the same chef, baker. The best biscuits and gravy I have ever head hands down (Runner up Happy Gillis) And also I was please to see my favorite taqueria, San Antonio! Have you tried The Parlor yet?

I went down two years ago. We hit up Papa Keno's Pizza by the Slice afterward. They have an extensive selection but were pretty slow.

I have not, but I will definitely put it on my list of places to try. Always looking for good new places to eat down here.
