MLB: ***Official 2018 Chicago Cubs Season Thread***

The way this season has ended is proof why every game counts no matter what part of the season it is played. Those early games fans say "eh its early in the season" or "we have the best record in the NL so we're fine" would be nice to have a couple of those gone the other way right now

Im not sure if Joe did it on purpose, but lining up game 163 with Quintana was genius. Best possible match up vs Milwaukee. Anyone know roster rules for 163? Do we get to keep expanded rosters, or back to 25?

I think I'd pitch Quintana tomorrow and save Lester for the wild card game or game 1.

I'd also have a very quick hook, obviously

I’m sure it’s a 25 man roster.

Lester and Hendricks and Hamels will be left off in place of some extra bats and bullpen arms.

Edit: DISREGARD

This is a lie and a myth that MLB wants you to believe. If all 162 matter there would be no one game playoff. The Cubs won the head to head, Cubs had a better division record, Cubs and Brewers ended with same record against NL and AL. If all 162 matter then Cubs hold two tie breaks and are tied in the other 2 categories. This means there is no 1 game playoff after 162 Cubs showed they were the better team.
