I accepted the wild card game on Tuesday after the second loss to the Pirates. This team needs a break but they’re just not gonna get it.

Have a buddy on Facebook blaming 3-4 Cubs for being in this position right now.
I think the only person you can really blame is Yelich. Dude has carried that team.
FO needs to go out and find another outfielder. Tired of Heyward being about the only guy you can guarantee will be in the outfield. Puts a hell of a lot of pressure on Joe to make the right decision on who to put out there.

Cubs win today and the Brewers have a stinker for once and lose. Cubs win the division. Book it.
I’d be completely fine with them trading Schwarber and Happ. Those guys are so damn inconsistent. They can’t be counted on. Murphy was a great add. They need another addition like that.
Mentioned this elsewhere but my hope is the Cubs are able to resign Murphy and grab Harper.
Having a guy who can consistently get on base for Harper/Bryant/Rizzo to bring in will help a lot instead of forcing one of those three to lead off.
That run should be enough today.

This is the 36th game in 38 days. Only 1 true off day in the time where the team landed at 5 am. MLB owes the Cubs an apology
What were they supposed to do? Mother Nature **** all over the cubbies. It was unlucky and out of everyone’s control. Would you rather be playing a necessary make up game in DC tomorrow?
