I'm in Fort Dodge, sales manager at Beisser Lumber Co. We could use one more inside sales person, plus at least one more driver.

He works at the lumberyard, not sure if they are affiliated with the one in Des Moines or not.

The vixen has her second cataract removal/lens replacement surgery today at Wolfe Eye Clinic in Des Moines. This one should be pretty easy, now that she has been through it and knows what to expect. She is excited about not having to wear glasses......in fact she has already taken the left lens out of her glasses, because she still needs the right one to see! I give her crap about it, but she's a good soldier.

How cheesy are your guy's training videos? I am doing a business conduct and ethics one and good lord it's cheesy. But they've followed the same guy for 3 years now in his never ending ethics and business conduct ***** ups. How is he not fired yet?

Most are awful. I had to take eleven a few weeks ago because of this new company. All about social engineering, harassment etc. The majority are terrible.
We had an all hands call today which was kicked off with a cheesy video about proper etiquette during a conference call.

I was also getting yelled at because I was waiting until the last minute for this training. Don't give me a deadline of Aug 31 if you wanted me to complete it in July.

Pretty crazy that we can't find one decent person to hire, and yet some of our peeps here on RTT are still looking. I understand that in many cases, the types of jobs RTT'ers are looking for will be specialized, and not numerous. But all I hear around town is that "anyone worth hiring is already working".

And cutting bus routes in the Twin Cities because they cannot find drivers. Will train and pay is decent, no takers. I get it, not everyone wants to drive bus especially on some of the routes. I could fix this if they gave me 100 green cards. Could fill those positions, at least the training slots, within a week and have a waiting list.
