It’s possible and we thought about that two neighbor boys (maybe middle school aged) that were hiding behind a neighbors van claimed they weren’t doing anything or playing with anyone like that. Said it was someone tall but I am not sure how much I believe them.

I'm thinking you found your culprits. Not much to do about it unless it gets worse in my opinion.

That’s what we are thinking. Honestly not mad as I would much rather have it at 9:15 than 12:15. Might try and talk to them tomorrow when they we out.

BC, to be fair it's pretty darn hard to eat corn on the cob neatly, unless you cut it off first but what's the fun of that. But I understand what you mean about being slobs.

Bad uncle story, had a nephew staying with me for a summer and he wouldn't chew with his mouth closed, worked with him daily trying to get him to, and he just wouldn't do it. Finally I told him if you chomp that food with your mouth open I'll shut your jaws for you. Started chewing with his mouth open, I reached across the table and caught him under the chin hard enough to snap his head into the back of the kitchen chair, cured the problem for the rest of the summer.
Some people are incapable of chewing with their mouth shut. My son couldn't until he had jaw re-alignment surgery when he was 19. Just sayin...

Never did make it into the game. It started raining as soon as I pulled into the parking ramp so I was going to wait it out in my car during the rain delay but the rest of the group decided to leave. Oh well, maybe next time.

Not a good night. In another rain delay but this cell was smaller and moved through fast. Was watching the grounds crew struggle with the tarp in the pouring rain. Don't think the few fans left are going to want to stay to 1:00 to finish this.

Probably for the best. On the bright side, I still have the ticket for the game and since they hit a double I get a free chicken sandwich from Chick-Fil-A :).

What's good for the gander...

Glad you seem to have survived the south side shootout.

SaraV, see RVTV is coming to your town, will you/your husband end up helping them or is it self contained?

My girlfriend's dog doesn't know how to control his licker (Ba-dum-pish)... Seriously though, he's got salt deficiency issues or something.

My sister was also bad about chewing with her mouth open. Never did learn any better, unfortunately.

@NWICY knew about a month(?) ago RVTV was coming through. Since we're in radio, probably won't be helping any. We'll almost definitely cover it, though.

Yesterday was one of those things where you just shake your head at social media. The first bits of news was saying that three guys kicked in a door at the school and started shooting. Nothing happened on school grounds...it just happened a couple of blocks away, which put the school on lockdown. Husband had to roll his eyes because this shooting yesterday kept him from starting his vacation by 3 hours.

Oh, and I had three voice mails yesterday. One from Alliant saying at some point in the next two weeks, they're upgrading our meters. So, we'll see our power out for just a few minutes. (Nice narrowing of the window there)

Voice mail #2 was from the blood bank, imploring how important it was to donate during the summer months...blah blah blah. C'mon...I'm still in the window where I can't donate...back off.

Voice mail #3 was frustrating. I should have clocked out at 4p, but long story short, didn't clock out until 4:30p. Saw I had another missed call from an 800 number at 3:30. It was someone trying to schedule an in-person interview. Gah! Didn't have a pen, so couldn't get it written down. Left a voice mail for her around 4:55 once I got home...which she won't get until Monday. If I hadn't been delayed, I might have been able to get back to her. Grr.

I was always taught on conference calls you can give light disagreement but if you truly disagree you're supposed to communicate with that person directly and off the call. Fwiw. Not sure if that's true in larger corporate settings, it was true in the non profit world.
You need to take those offline.

Didn't make the game, sounds like they may have never left the bar. Cheesy popcorn and whiskey shots does not communion make.
We were on a rooftop near the stadium and saw the lighting and that huge cell. Made it back to the hotel just in time. Waited about an hour or so until it stopped and then went out
