Why? College sports sold out a long time ago.
I'm sure Iowa fans that are Mid American customers are thrilled that a small portion of their bill will be spent on advertising for the states flagship university.
Are they going to be releasing any renderings of the project? If it's going to start by Spring of 2019, I would think they would have some sketches drawn up.
I just always assumed most of them lived without power.
You take that money and you paint a big *** Mid American Logo on both sides of the field! That's $1.5 million that you can throw at this staff.
If you've smelled them you'd know they live without plumbing as well.
The $15m total is essentially equivalent to a 'lead gift' for the new athletics performance center project. All the revenue will go towards that.

Iowa's basketball court is Mediacom and they suck.

Exactly. MidAm charges reasonable rates and has solid customer service. Mediacom can suck a fat one.
It's 15 million dollars over 10 years. I will let you name my children for 15 million dollars.
The ten years just seems a little long. Maybe its the Rhoads contract that still has me leary. Just seems we might have a little extra in 5-7, but then again, this goes a long ways to pay towards the new facilities
How much were making yesterday off the naming of the field? Best way to look at it.
