Well this is my plan. Took a few and put them in the bathtub with a few inches of water.

The others I put right next to the biggest window. Both have grow lights for 18 hours a day.

Be well

Sorry to hear about the one you lost. I thought you were a "little" above average for births.

Thanks, it’s a topic that most don’t mention but CG well past ten weeks. My mom, MIL, three SILs, sister, and a niece have all miscarried, it is pretty common.

Key lime pie is the most underrated pie all time. It's gotta be on my Mount Rushmore of pie flavors for me and regularly competes for the number one spot.

Side note, it was my late father's favorite flavor of pie so that always makes it special for me too

Gotta find the right style though. Key lime is supposed to be a little tart and most up north here are too sweet, the one in lots of restaurants are not tart at all. Plus they serve a slice the size that would feed a family. So, tart with a modest size portion for the win.

Best local pie is Byerlys but they charge over 2X the price of other pies they have. Edwards isn't bad for frozen mass produced. I buy frozen ones from Florida. Both the Edwards and Florida one are better than anything at local restaurants. The search is still on here.

so last night as the storms rolled in, I told DH they were too slow to cause the kind of barometric drop to kick off labor. He's like is that really a thing? I'm like I think so, cows were always having their calves in blizzards. You are a human anecdote and didn't that happen with one of Birdy's kids? I could swear I remember reading that. Or it happened to someone in a Iowa snowstorm a few years back and it was on the news - I remember something about transporting the mom on a snowmobile cause roads were shut down.

The Dr. who delivered my 2nd did the snowmobile delivery, except he rode a snowmobile to their house. The mom was transported by ambulance following a snowplow.

we'll just check in once a day and debate if the plants look mostly dead or not. Be the new Decorah baby eagles webstream.

Have a friend who is a nurse. She had someone give her a small cactus for her office at work. She has an inside office so no sunlight. After a month or so, she was wondering why it didnt look very good. I asked her if it ever got sunlight, she said cactus (what is the plural for cactus) do not need much sunlight.

I questioned her why they lived in a desert and you could see the wheels starting to churn.

Key Lime
Cherry
Apple

Cake

All other pies

Chocolate cake

Not a huge pie fan, but Key Lime and strawberry are my top two. A chocolate pie I made is actually my favorite “pie”. A staple at the county fair is the church food stand pies. My sister makes an awesome triple berry, had a piece yesterday.

The current term for small cacti is succulent. At least I think that's what my wife is talking about when she says the word succulent.

Do people actually leave their house at midnight just to go buy bread for a snack? I wasn’t that desperate for it.

It's Mpls, to great a fear of being shot.

BTW, got detoured off of 42nd street in NE Mpls over by North Victory Memorial early Tuesday evening (you can't drive more than 5 miles max with a detour.) Detour put me through a neighborhood I would not have driven through after dark in a Boxster with it's top down. Car's 16 years old but I'd still be looking like some white dude from Edina or something. Typical official detour, not straight down and over or anything, left, right, left, straight, right, left etc. This is essentially the neighborhood of the latest police shooting controversy here in the metro.
