Not exactly sure.
Slow around here last night. Only new posts that showed up were in the cave. Don't go there but do enjoy the crazy stuff that is in headlines. Even the hawk trolls went to bed early. Becoming old people on CF.

LOL, yeah she is. But she can still put away the Busch Light......

BTW, I was reading the QB thread - who is this Guy McPerson? Is he the latest reincarnation of BodeClone? What a ****.

My guess on Guy is he is a hawk troll reincarnated under a new name.

Everything I have been told Park is done no matter what. On campus but not currently with the team but when he does return he will be kicked off it so both sides are just playing the waiting game.

I had a lot of 10-11PM curfews especially weeknights in the summer. My parents (mom) always played the "if you are not home I can't sleep" card. I distinctly remember always being the first one to leave and having it down to the minute from friends houses when I could leave and still be in the driveway at curfew.

@cowgirl836 I completely agree. I have a good friend who just got back from a week in RMNP and I can't wait to go back now. SO many beautiful places to go. Next year is Branson for us...yay! Not.

While I would completely love to travel the world, I'm pretty content staying within the country and checking out the rest of United States. Not to make you too jelly, but later this week my wife and I are going to the Smoky Mountains, and hopefully the fall colors are looking good. Right now we enjoying Nashville, TN, and I can't wait to try some Nashville hot chicken.

I am right there with you. I am still jealous of CGs trip earlier this year but the vast size of this country offers amazing different contrasts. Also it can cost just as much as leaving the country so there is that too. Enjoy your trip! A trip idea I recently had was the Florida/Alabama gulf coast.

Go a little further south into northern Arkansas. Eureka Springs area and the Ozark National Forest are beautiful

I would love that. Sadly it is another trip with the in-laws entire family so it is a condo at table rock and doing all of the touristy Branson things for us.

there are too many cool and pretty places in the world that I want to see.

My parents didn't start traveling outside the US until we were in college. Before that, they did get to a lot of places in the US. Now they are in their 70's (dad getting closer to the 80's) and travel just as much as ever. Coming up in November is another trip to Europe/Italy. I think they did have to cancel a trip for next year to the areas that were hit by hurricanes.

Midnight curfew until I graduated high school and I'm glad I had it. In actuality, I probably needed it the summer I graduated more than during the rest of high school.

While I haven't left the US (yet) I have to agree that there is a lot of really diverse scenery right here in the homeland. I've been to Boston, New York, Virginia Beach, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Louisville, San Antonio, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, parts of Oregon, Salt Lake City, Denver, and all over the Midwest.

I haven't made it to Washington or Idaho yet, but they are on my list. Also, oddly enough, I've never been to Northern Minnesota or the upper peninsula of Michigan either, but I plan on getting up there as well.

California alone has an amazing array of landscapes: sprawling cities, beaches, secluded ocean coves, mountains, deserts, agricultural fields, ranches, redwoods, etc.

We traveled to a number of different places before kids and I don't regret one single trip.

Don't tell us that you're going to the Smoky Mountains when we all know that your true destination is Dollywood.

My FILs parents seem a lot like yours. They did very well for themselves, live part time here and part time in Vegas. He goes to Cabo every year with buddies for a half week to week and at least once a year they have been going on a bigger trip somewhere in the world. They call it Skiing. Spending Kids Inheritance. Usually it is a Viking River Cruise, they have done Europe, Russia and a Mediterranean one in the last few years.

We stopped by Dollywood during a family trip to SC. I remember bumper boats and the log ride, but nothing else. I credit memory suppression and hope no psychiatrist ever opens that dark cabinet in my mind.

Ha, that was immediately ruled out by both my wife and I. Besides we went to the Wisconsin Dells in September. That pretty much has to be the exact same thing right? ;)
