I personally dislike the bird in the blender. I be impressed if anyone could come up with a more confusing mascot for the rest of the nation to understand.View attachment 50076 I would be ok with this helmet for next Thursday.
or this one in ISU colors with Cy on the side, always thought Boise St had some sweet uniforms.![]()

I never liked the logo because people would ask me if we were some type of bird or a tornado.
If they ask about the bird AND the tornado, then the logo is working and I don't mind it. However, when there is nothing about the bird that indicates a connection with a cyclone/tornado, then we have an image that is only meaningful internally. I like it when someone asks about "the bird and the tornado," because then I can explain how unique and wonderful it is.
I am guessing we see the W/C/W combination for the Texas game.
I think we'll see something in a burnt orange.
Love telling the story about the bird and the CycloneI personally dislike the bird in the blender. I be impressed if anyone could come up with a more confusing mascot for the rest of the nation to understand.

Nope...most people think it is pretty cool and impressed that I know it and care enough to know itAnd they fall asleep before you finish the story.
