Had people being loud outside my room last night between 12 and 3. Going to complain and see if I can get something taken off my bill.

This is why you should have traveled with your chainsaw. Nothing shuts people up like a guy in the hall in briefs at 3 a.m. wielding a chainsaw. A hockey mask won't hurt the effect either.

To be fair, you should have complained between 12 and 3 so they could - you know - do something about it. At this point it just looks like trying to get a discount on your bill.

Yeah I know. I think someone else finally did though because I'm pretty sure someone came by and told people to be quiet or something. I got free parking and 1,000 rewards points out of it.

Thought we lost another furry family member. Our cat loves to be outside which MrsWx allows and LittleWx is still working on the whole closing the door behind him. Not to mention the cat just sprints out the door. So that happened last night around 6:30ish and he still wasn't home by 9 which is long for him. I was convinced that he was dead or someone grabbed him. He just came home and our backdoor neighbor came to say that they found him in their bedroom. Best they can figure out is that he ran into their garage last night and who they had dog sitting didn't notice him run into the house after the door was closed.

We are fortunate that our younger cats (the ones most likely to dive outside) tend to hide when grandkids are here, because they are really iffy on pulling doors closed until they latch - they kind of yank the door behind them, but it may not latch. Eventually the door will oootch open again, and we could lose a cat. Since only Mel (the 12 year old) and Milo (the dork) are willing to be downstairs when the gkids are here, we don't have to worry as much. They don't dart. They meander. :)
Glad your kitty came home!

Just wondering though, where people would look first if that happened.

LittleWx is getting better but there are still times where he just opens it and walks out without even thinking of closing it.

Semi-related: Tobe Hooper, director of Texas Chain Saw Massacre, died last night.
The first time I saw Texas Chainsaw was at the Ames Drive In theater. It was second in a triple bill of Nightmare on Elm Street, Texas Chainsaw & Blood Beach.
Texas Chainsaw was of course about 10 years old at the time but you didn't have the options for movie viewing like we do today. You either saw it in the theater or on TV years later. Texas Chainsaw wasn't something they would have shown on network TV back then and I don't remember seeing it on HBO. I don't even remember if I had cable back then.
First time I saw Jaws was on a 5 inch b&w TV. Needless to say it didn't have the same effect as it had in the theater.

The next man I see wear rompers I am going to verbally address. And I'm not going to keep it PC. I could see someone like jbindm, CycloneErek, cmjh10, or CryCrapy wearing rompers, but real men don't wear these. If any of you see males in Iowa wearing them, make them feel bad about themselves and ruin their confidence. They deserve it.

Please do this. It's textbook harassment or dc, you'll get your sorry ass arrested, and be in jail for about 24 hours until you can have a bond hearing.

Seriously, I know you're a ****, Bode, but why would you do this (Yes, I'm aware I answered my own question)? Do they look dumb? Yeah, but they're not harming anyone

He wouldn't actually do it in real life because he's a ******* coward.

The great thing that Hooper didn't get enough credit for was still to this day TCSM is known as one of the gruesomest, bloodiest horror movies, yet most violence is actually done off camera an implied through sound and imagination and there's very little blood actually in it. That's the marking of a great horror director.

Yeah I'm sure I'll get arrested for telling someone their clothes looks terrible on them smfh. 'Sorry ass'? Takes one to know one.
