It must feel weird to stand next to someone saying you will kick their ass when the other guy could end your life w his bare hands in about a minute. I really wonder if when money beats him Connor just grabs him and taps him in 3 seconds to prove he is obviously the better irl fighter

A buddy and I have already decided to head to Vegas to catch this. We went out on NYE and watched the last Rousey fight in person (puke!), but we were able to get inside for $250 each. Cheapest ticket on Stubhub for this one is $2000+. JFC

They're doing a hell of a job selling the fight. I suspect the most entertaining part of this whole circus is probably happening right now with the press conferences.
Mcgregor is going to get murdered and embarrassed. However, he will have 100 million after he is done. So he wins even when he loses. Good job by Connor. Money get's to pay off his tax bet. I get to drink with friends. This is a win win win for everyone.
Sounds about right. And McGregor haters can say whatever they want. It's not like he's sacrificing his rep as an MMA fighter. He's stepping out of his comfort zone for a monster payday. Good for him. I'd take an L for a 100 million bucks, too.
While I agree that Mayweather is (and should be) a prohibitive favorite, Floyd has never been knocked down. Would love to see McGregor put him on his ass once with a lucky left before being outpointed since Floyd likely has no intention of actually fighting. Just dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge all night.
Totally surreal actually. The fact that Floyd even went to the three bangs on the podium and gave Conor **** about being tapped out is hilarious. Then taunted him about quitting. "only a ***** quits" or something like that. Holy hell... lol

This is the equivalent of a great cricket player in England coming over and try to play Major League Baseball. Two totally different sports. People who think Mcgregor is going to win don't understand boxing at all.
If that happened, I wouldn't exactly feel bad, though.

I definitely don't think McGregor will win, but I'm not sure I really agree with that analogy. McGregor *could* get lucky and land a blow. He doesn't have to be some great boxer to do that. A cricket player would never be able to hit a 95 mph fastball, and a baseball player wouldn't know what the hell cricket is.
Well a cricket player could get lucky and accidentally hit a baseball about as much as Mcgregor or anyone could get lucky and hit Floyd. This is sooo lopsided of a fight. It's unreal they even sanctioned it.
