Waiting for people to freak out on me in rhe trump CF thread for my GOAT comment. Safe to say slow morning at work and looking for entertainment

I assumed it meant Greatest of all Trumps. I think I gave you a funny on that but I don't remember.

I had a first last night.

We stopped by a restaurant last night after soccer practice, and there was a 50th birthday party going on (roughly 15-20 people). They were having a good time laughing and drinking, but two ladies had this obnoxiously loud high pitched laugh and, apparently, everything was the funniest thing ever. I was a good 20 feet from these ladies, but could not converse with my wife and daughter next to me because it was so loud and consistent.

About 10 minutes in, it became apparently that this shrill cackling was going to continue as long as we were there. I exchanged looks with a few other patrons as well as the exasperated wait staff and came to the conclusion that this had been going on before we arrived. When the server brought our food out, I asked them to box it up because we weren't going to stay.

I left him a nice tip and a note wishing him a quiet evening.

I about said something to the ladies, but decided not to interfere with their fun (they weren't swearing or doing anything inappropriate). Anyone have something like this happen to them before? I'm curious how you handled it/would have handled it.

That's a tough call. They are only responding to their own group, and not intentionally trying to annoy or insult other groups. I think you made the right choice it was either take out or tough it out. It's kind of hard to be mean to people when they are out celebrating. I think you made the right choice by taking your meal home and not interrupting their gathering.

Not looking forward to tomorrow. Doing more concrete work. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't working for free. I know I'm helping out, but I would like some sort of compensation for my time and effort.

If you're helping someone out, they should be paying you in beer and food.

Tell your sister that doing this concrete work at the relatives to host her grad party is your gift to her;). Sometimes you just end up doing things to make it work out. Hopefully people remember and help you back.

My dog eats grass sometimes. Tonight she was taking a dump and the last piece wasn't coming out. I looked and there was grass sticking out of her ass, so I had to put on plastic gloves and pull it out.

had that happen to both the dog and the farm cats on occasion. We just......let it hang, I suppose.

so sitting outside doing old lady cross stitch stuff, I notice the pre-teen neighbor girls playing with preschool girl 2 houses down. The families are good friends and kids always playing together. And older teen was there but wasn't sure if babysitter or friend. I was listening to music and kinda hear a commotion.

Look over to see preschool girl running from preteen girls' dog who from my distance......I wasn't sure whether it was mauling or just jumping. While I frantically look around for a more adultier adult than I, they catch up to preschool girl and I don't hear any crying or such. Watched for a bit more and girl was up playing around, dog was put inside so I decide my involvement isn't needed. I know last fall the dog (who is just now a year old) came into our yard and jumped up on me (got a decent scratch) so I know he's a jumper but had always thought he was friendly. Seemed he just started jumping, she started running and dog is like oh cool, let's play.

But holy ****, that feeling when I first looked up and didn't know for sure. Now I feel bad that I didn't instantly start running.
